Austin Collins - WebRTC and Other Necessary Software Engineer
Bio: I am majoring in Software Engineering. After graduating I will be working as an Embedded Software Engineer at Vermeer Corporation. I am passionate about making the world a better place by making as many of our menial tasks autonomous as possible. I am not sure where my career will take me, but I am planning to come back for some higher education as soon as I get a better idea from industry.
Matthew Gasparaitis - Hardware Engineer
Bio: I am majoring in Electrical Engineering and minoring in Biomedical Engineering. My passion to pursue a career within medical microelectronics has led me to where I am in my last few semesters here at Iowa State. My current plan after this year of school is to participate in a coop opportunity at Bridgestone Americas, as my graduation date will be pushed to Spring of 2023.
Yilun Huang - Product Design Engineer
Bio: I am majoring in Electrical Engineering. I am specializing in the area of VLSI Circuit Design and Robotics.I have had experience with Solid State Drive testing and testing environment development.Upon graduation, I intend to pursue an M.S of Electrical Engineering with a concentration in Analog VLSI Circuit Design and Robotics research.
Joyce Lai - Communications Engineer/Scrum Master
Bio: I am majoring in Electrical Engineering and minoring in Biomedical Engineering. I have had experience in various biomedical research projects throughout my undergraduate studies such as the computational design optimization of medical robots and thin film heater design for a fluorescence-based miRNA detection system. Upon graduation, I plan to enroll in either an M.S. or Ph.D. program in electrical engineering with the intention of pursuing research as a career. As of now, my research interests are in optimal controls, statistical learning,and self-learning systems for robotic applications
Vignati Yalamanchili - Embedded System Engineer/Scrum Master
Bio: I am majoring in Computer Engineering also minoring CyberSecurity and leadership. Upon graduation, I plan to attend graduate school to get an M.S. in cybersecurity or Computer Engineering, focusing on Embedded systems. I am passionate about working on medical devices that help healthcare professionals take better care of patients and products that help patients take care of themselves.
